Design is my passion. Silhouettes, lines, curves, layers, colours, compositions of all kinds fascinate my, to transform those inspirations and fascinations into textile designs and garments.

The concept of my label “ENGST” is based on respect for the environment, animals and the work of people. Therefore, I see the importance to introduce the customer to a sustainable, reduced and thoughtful way of dressing. Simply “Slow Fashion”.

Beside "Slow Fashion" I like to involve myself in projects with inter cultural exchange as well as social and educational aspects. Collaborations in all shapes and forms are a very pure and beautiful way as inspiration and motivation.

In January 2019 I took on the role as Country Coordinator for Fashion Revolution Ethiopia, a global movement - demanding more transparency within the fashion industry.

Further more I am working to bring forward my workshop platform: COLLECTIVE CREATIVE.

I am hosting workshops around textile design and collective creative projects. It is my vision to expand this workshops Africa-wide, one day globally.
